A Story…

In 2017, I had the very special opportunity to photograph Mike Posner in concert in Detroit at St Andrews Hall. It was my first time at a concert and definitely my first time photographing one. When I got the news that I was going to be allowed in the photo pit, I spent a lot of time studying successful concert photographers and practicing their techniques leading up to the big night. I was so proud of how they turned out. If anything, I had proved to my young self that I was capable. After that night I realized that I wanted to become a full time photographer and finally leave the graphic design world that I was already getting tired of. Most of these pictures were shared to Mike Posner’s instagram account, receiving thousands of likes. Since then, I have occasionally volunteered for local artists performing at small events to expand my portfolio.

While I don’t actively seek out concert gigs anymore I am 100% happy to do more of them!
